Harley and other choppers are way over rated. Old tech, too heavy and I even hear from co-workers that brand new bikes need work to "make them right" like WTF I use to be all for choppers, but now after looking into more moder street bikes, I am in the process of getting one. (writing my learners license today actually) Looking at a Suzuki GS500F for my first on road bike (have a honda CRX250 dirt) or maybe even a 650.

don't worry guys. i'm wearing jeans today, i wasn't expecting to ride his bike yesterday. i figured keeping it slow it would be alright. they have classes on base i can take, so when i get a bike... i'll take it and be very cautious. with gas prices going way up, i think a bike would be the best thing, my truck is way too expensive to drive.

GAS! that and they are fun as hell to ride, just if you end up getting a sports bike AKA crotch rocket, make sure you understand how torquey 1st gear is :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

oh god.

1. you dont DRIVE a bike, you ride one.
2. WEAR JEANS.

yes they are easy to ride. problem is all the morons out there.

last month i had a guy merge into me, which left a nasty 1 foot dent/scrape in his str8 magnum. He had no idea he hit me.

Last week I had a guy rear end me in a lifted truck.

bikes are a blast, its the morons on the road that dont see you that make it scary as hell.
