So what should i do for the first start up after my rebuild. All just rebuild stock within spec. Should i crank it first without any spark to get the oil around? Anything else that i should do?

pull efi fuse and crank a few times to get oil psi into system and turbo. and just double check everything to make sure its all secure then start, i prefer to let any fresh rebuild idle for about half hour or so get things seated and coolant moving. then inspect for leaks and such

Yep. Pull the EFI Fuse and crank until you see oil pressure. You'll need a good charge on the battery and be sure to give your starter a break. Don't just crank and crank and crank and crank...

The best way to prime the turbo is to have the accordian hose off and hold the turbo fins while someone else starts it. Or they hold the fins while you start it. It only needs to be held for ~15 seconds then just simply let go.

Let idle and check for leaks.

+1 on the starter rest period forgot to mention that along with battery charge. Thats the last thing you need to do is burn the starter up and have to replace it after just rebuilding the engine.
