Im finally finishing up on my engine install. I have everything now but the turbo and was wondering if I can attach the air meter to my intake pipe and attemp to fire the engine just to see if it will run?
That's a good question. I don't see why not since it would basically be like it was running before the turbo spools. But before you start it, did you build oil pressure?lowtaco;1445673 said:Im finally finishing up on my engine install. EDIT: I misread, is this install a rebuilt block, or used?

You're back!

And I understand it will not run "correctly", I just want to make sure it runs. I do not plan on driving without a turbo, but even with it off I dont see why it wouldnt hurt just to make sure it runs.
