Throwout bearing or problem with the transmission input shaft. 99 times out of 100, it will be the throwout bearing.

well when mine did that with a brand new throwout bearing, it ended up being a front bearing retainer thus resulting in the transmission needing rebuild, just my 2 cents.

That sounds like really loud valves to me. IDK the video is posted in this thread somewhere lol

If it's an auto, loose flexplates make the same sound, too.

This
