I think you went about it the right way. Yo fixed the car up by learning from experiences here and then drove the car for the first time after everything was taken car of and fixed.

This way, it will be a while for you to run into money woes and bitchin and complaining about your car....

congrats man... i had a similar experience last night... drove my car for the second time in about a year last night, but i drove really fast , o and it still leaks oil like crazy, after putting a oil pan gasket on... maybe it's from the turbo oil pickup :-/

Congrats Man, That is such a great felling driving one for the first time. I cant wait to get mine on the road. It will be differnt like night and day with all the stuff i put into it.

heh...i remember the first time I drove my N/A. I was in love with them from that point forward, the whole feel of the car was just too perfect for me. When I got the turbo one, the feel was a bit different with the upgraded clutch and suspension, but I got used to it and love it even more. Boost is a whole other thing though, I think we can all say that the first time we felt that thing spool up there was an ear-to-ear grin plastered on that didn't come off for a good half an hour.

the first one i drove was an n/a and it was the fatest car i'd ever driven. then i bought the turbo, and i love it!
