Guys, so please dont flame me or think less of me, but i went out and got my car registered today.

I am seriously in love. First time actually like driving it. I got home, put the plates on, and my dad drove it for a little while with me in it. I asked if i can drive it, it is my car after all :icon_bigg , and he says sure. So we get home, and i hope in te drivers seat, adjust the leather lumbar seats, play with the HKS TEMS controller, push in the clutch and back out. My first time driving 5-speed and i have yet to mess up! (knock on wood) I absoulutly am in love.

I didn't even go over the speed limit at all. But i jsut LOVE going into a nice corners in fourth and putting it into second and listening to the engine roar.....

All in all i am extremly happy at the hundreds of hours in the garage, blood, sweat, no tears yet though. It all paid off today.

I don't even want to speed or race or anything, for some reason i have no antisipation of doing any of this, simply because i am going to the track almost once a week.

So please dont flame me cause im 16 and all.....but

I LOVE MY CAR!!!!!

I remember the first Supra I ever drove - an '89 N/A, and I hated it, compared to my '88 Camaro... worked on them for a bit, then took the turbo out for a spin - and was hooked :D

Congrats man... this'll be one of your memories forever :)

I understand how you feel. Driving's always been a bit of an escape for me, whether it was in my old Camaro, POS Escort, '93 MR2 or my MKIII.... but the MKIII is definitely the most enveloping experience. It's not in as good a shape as most and needs a TON of work, but it's by far my favorite car to drive out of all the cars I've owned.... even the MR2 which I bought new.

Thats what I mean, driving a supra thats in working order is waaaayyy better than working on one that isn't IMO.

I was stopped for speeding in Ohio in 1994 test driving the first one I bought. 75 in a 45 going down the street. 75 felt like 45 and sounded like 20. What an experience.

Congrats!

I drove mine about a 2-hour drive home after I bought it, and then the following morning washed it and tooks a bunch of pictures. I wasn't able to drive it around again for about a week because my dad didn't want to put it on his insurance until the next pay period started (dunno why).

Everytime I drive it I remember why I love Supras. :)
