Man be careful, a bone stock turbo supra was alot of car for me when i got it as my 3rd car, i now have the exact mods and its pretty hard to control and i have an Auto tranny. Plus im running on only 12psi. Luckily I have 265's in the back to handle the power and im starting to get wheel hop as it is. So i cant imagine stock tires. I say lower the boost to 5psi learn the car then turn it up after you get tires!! Good luck and be safe

Give him some credit... My first car was a Supra and I didnt wreck it.. I guess my first was a n/a though and not a 400+ beast.. So yeah, just be careful!

I know exactly what car you bought haha, it's black with five star konig's. Seen it on the for sale thread and when the previous owner first joined Supramania. You have a nice and powerful car, numbers are really impressive from a 57CT imo.

P.S., I'm not a stalker, just have a pretty good memory with member's rides on here haha.
yep thats her lmao the konigs are in really good shape still! but the rear tires are in dire need of replacement because of this things power lol so I'm gonna either put new tread on em or sell them and get new rims and new rubber.

OKAY

Since I'm at my friends house and a computer is available, I took the liberty of uploading some photos of the car when the previous owner went for a cruise a month or so ago, But I will be taking pictures myself when I have a chance.

You guys crack me up.

To the OP there is no harm in having a 450whp car.
My advice would be go to a performance driving school, I had the privilege of being born into a racing family so I got the run about when it was my time.

And I will say this even 500rwhp bores me driving.
Once I am done with my supra I am planning a 350whp hayabusa build to use as a good weather daily driver.

It is all about being respectful to what you have. And I absolutely love going to track meets talking people into letting me drive their cars and running better times with 1-2 passes than the owners of the cars lol. The best one I did like that I ran 2 seconds better in the 1/4 mile than the owner of the car I was driving.

That's a good idea, wonder if there are any good ones where I live... and how much it would cost lol you just wanna teach me buddy? lol and yes, I bought the car myself with no help from my parents or anyone so I think that way I will have more respect for the car and I will take care of it so I get my moneys worth.

Car looks good my man. Dont let these guys scare you into crashing, just use your head while your behind the wheel. Bring it on by, I'll give you some tips and advice. Ive learned my fair share of lessons with these cars. If your looking for a set of tires let me know cause I can hook you up with some Toyos if your intrested.

Are they brand new? And what type of tire are they?

I bought her with my hard earned money, she's gonna be baby'd lol

Typically its not throttle that gets people in crashes. It's people not paying attention to:

1. Other idiots not paying attention
2. Signs at intersections

Brian, I'd go with coilovers. What you have now is good, but coilovers are a lot better and offer you adjustment that you can fine tune to fit your driving style. Go over your car with a fine tooth comb and fix anything that's broken first. Remember, mechanical before cosmetic. Looks like your Supra is pretty decent, especially for a first car.

That looks like Brent's old car actually. He sold it to a guy before this guy ou got it from I bet. If it was Brent's, he ran 12.7 in it, if same car, gearing was different too. Same interior and wheels (Don's old wheels) too. Looks like my old GReddy exhaust too from years ago! I would have to see it to be sure but 90% it was his old car! :) It was white before too, now, 99% it was.

Yeah, go to a performance driving school, and push the limits of the car on the track, not the street. Best way to learn and find the limits. My car has around 450 and I've had some real close calls... ;)
