All my book marks disappeared.... all of them. Just out of the blue, I restarted the computer and they were just gone. Also, it won't let me add new book marks and its driving me nuts! Anyone have this problem?

the bookmarks should still be saveable - go to your documents and settings folder, your username, then theres a hidden folder called 'application data', mozilla, firefox and then somewhere in that directory tree there should be a file called "bookmarks.htm" thats the one you need to make a copy of.
If its not there, or its there, but blank - sorry, you're SOL

Also, I don't know how you feel about Firefox extensions, but Foxmarks has saved me many times. Once you do find your Firefox extensions I recommend using this to keep them synchronized and safe in case something like this happens.

I had a similar problem a while back where all my bookmarks disappeared but mine had to do with the profile manager. Somehow I could start up with my "profile" so everything was lost.

Store a copy of your bookmarks online - they are accessible anywhere, and that way you have a backup.
