So my work has been violating fire codes alot lately. Last night the supervisor decided to stack like 20 tires in the fire exit door/stairs. I said something and he just told me Im crying and whining. Its clearly a fire hazard and against company policy, if I was doing something unsafe Id be wrote up for it.

Should I keep complaining and take it higher up or just give up and stop 'crying'?

take it higher up or call your local fire marshall. there should be a 1-800 number where you can anonimously contact a higher up stop loss/safety department

I dont really care about doing things anonymously, they know Im the one complaining lol I got nothing to hide.

I just fired off an email to a local fire station senior staff(public relations), Ill see if I get any info back from him. Youd think the fire department would love this sorta thing, big $$ in fines.

Wait until the guy is moving the crap again, then light the shop on fire. Wait outside, roasting marshmellows, and take bets on whether he makes it out or not.

I guess then I could say hes whining when hes on fire... :evil2:

Yea call the FD. I'm in the Fire Academy right now and we have a Fire Marshall in my class who tells us stories like this all the time.

Absolutely, notify the local FD. That is a blatent act that shows he has no concern for those inside the building if it were to catch fire. Speaking of fire(d), I forsee a job opening in the near future.

Well, I guess the brown hit the fan at UPS over the fire door blocking. It seems someone herd my whining, they happened to be on the safety board and a 20 year driver vet with the company. He took it all the way to the top, noone got in trouble for the incident I posted about. However, It was made very clear the next time heads will roll for it. So all is well and should be safe lol. The sup. that kept saying I was whining was acting like my best friend suddenly too.

...Im still waiting to see if the guy I emailed gets back to me, Ill still inform him if they care about it enough.

i wouldnt call"cry" to people above....99% of whistle blowers get fired somehow, someway............

Ive seen 2 of my friends get "layed off" after telling on a boss for equipment violations at their work at a quarry.

I got layed off for leavin a tip with heath department for our make table(pizza place) running at 60 DEGREES!!! Boss was still makin pizzas with nasty ingredients.....so i left a tip. About 2 wks later he found out somehow and now im outta a job
