( Oh were is that water coming from?)

So i started my car, all legit. I was looking at the car and it was dripping water so i was ...oh?
I found the problem........http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291410/catalog.aspx?F=1603&P=2
The big metal tubes that wrap around the block.

I removed the EX mani and the IN mani. No way this thing is coming out with out taking the head off or the motor out of the car.

I's there another way to remove and install this water line with out taking the motor out?

ok... I'm confused how you had water coming out of the oil cooler piping though?

(that's what the link you have goes to)

Yeah, were the pipes meet. I took it off already. I already painted the one thats going on there tomorrow. It would be easier to remove the motor . I just did the hg , don't want to go to toyota and buy another one.

Serena's Place ;)
Talk to KnifeArtist, he bypassed it completely, pretty neat the way he did it. Also, Im confused on where its leaking from the pipe itself, if its at one of the places where its actually the rubber hose leaking, it can be fixed without taking out anything.

*ask me how i Know ;)

mine was leaking around the flange where it goes to the back of the water pump housing.
I cut it off giving me enough bite to put a hose on it after i got finished welding up the pipe. Put a nice weld around where it was comming apart.
Went to the marine store got some of there hose with the spiral in it with some nice clamps.
Put that all together and it never leaked agian and it saved me from having to pop the head off at that time

I replaced the lines with another set i had from my other block. It was a pain, but you can remove it, but you have to take off both manifolds.
Dude, I feel for you. That's a lot of work, all for a fricken cooling sys pipe. It's nice to see that you were resourceful enough to deal with it, LOL.

Happy 4th of July! Throughout history, Americans have been masters at conquering mechanical problems that get in our way. Despite the failings of our politicians & government, we are what makes this country great. Damn right.

Off-Soap-Box. LOL.
