I finally had both the time and a nice day to get some pics of my supra.

Car: 1986.5 Supra NON Turbo (MK3)
Motor: 1992 SC400 matched set
Transmission: R154 with 1jz bell housing and bebop adapter
Date swap completed: completed October (14 ? ) 2007
Location: Rochester NY, USA
hopefully supercharged by end of may 2008

I think the car would sound sick with the the Supercharger and some Borla exhaust I ve heard this engine on some SC400s' and they sound mean with a good setup..

howed you mount the motor to the subframe? custom motor mounts?

I made the mounts myself. I used a supra R154 tranny and the rear tranny support from my old W58 as a guide and then just fabbed up some mounts that put the engine where I wanted it. Not as tight as some other swaps. I did not have to swap my break booster, or cut my sub frame. And I think that a stock 5 speed turbo supra drive shaft would have worked but I went with the drive shaft shop.

How much HP are you looking for with the supercharger?

If my 7M ever blows up ( :biglaugh: ) I'm swaping in a 1UZ.

Where I live you are not allowed to swap in a 2JZGTE but 1UZ is ok.

The reason being that the 2JZGTE has 330 hp and you are only allowed a 20% increase in hp.

The reason being that the 2JZGTE has 330 hp and you are only allowed a 20% increase in hp.

They don't test how much HP you have but they know what a 1UZ is rated at. So you can just stick on a supercharger afterwards and remove it every time the car needs an MOT.

This also means that you can of course tune the sh.. out of your 7M and they'll never complain because it's the orignal motor and they don't check how many HP you have nor do they know anything about which turbo is supposed to be on the car.

But yes the 20% limite sux.

Yes that is possible. I considered that before rebuilding my 7M. But again you'd have to remove the turbo charger before every MOT which is every second year here.

We have the same problems with coilovers and big brake kits and wide rims. All will have to be removed before every MOT.

Denmark is the number 1 car communistic country. NOTHING is legal unless it is stock.

I will post a link to a video as soon as i can get my hands on a camera. I hope that it happens soon cause there are lots o people who want to see a vid and the camera in my phone would not be able to recored the sound that the engine makes with just down pipes and a pair of glass packs.
