Finally watched Silent Hill *Spoilers! possibly so beware*

oh hey phoenix btw man...my names Tommy haha, but theres a couple more rpgs u should check out if your into chrono trigger, some for ps and super...im not a big fan of the new rpgs with all the graphics and kids shit...no real story line.

Lemme give you my list, I used to be HUGE on these, my names Jon, nice to meet you haha..

Final Fantasy III (played 10 mins, aware of it being a masterpiece, need time to actually play, its planned)
Final Fantasy 7 (best one ever, loved it to death, played all teh way to the top of the crater on disc 4, thought I wasnt strong enough and kept dying. 4 years later picked it back up for fun, beat it first try, loved it)
Final Fantasy 8 (Similar to 7, wasnt strng enough, then remembered turing items into more power, did that with everything, 45 mins later, game was owned)
Final Fantasy X (I liked it, had fun)
Secret of Mana (first RPG ever played, got to the witches Tiger or some shit and never won, lost the game since)
Secret of Evermore (never played, have it though)
Legend of Dragoon (never beat it all the way, came close, this is one of my favs EVER. More so I think bc of the memories I have linked to it)

play secret of evermore...i loved it...umm sukoden II, YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME haha, has soooo many playable characters man...umm breath of fire I, II, III...breath of fire 4 wasnt that great. Super Mario RPG. Oh if you can find it, i have it but its very rare...monster rancher 1....great ass game. ive had it since i was 10 i guess? im now 18 and i still play it and find secrets. Tecmos deceptions...i know i wandered off the rpg track sorry...umm all the FF's are decent, FF-7 was one of my favorites, XENOGEARS youll love that. ummm hell man theres a shitload out there. but theres some of my favs.

I know Xenogears was great, never got fully into it. Ive played some of the ones you mentioned. I have emulators out the ass, I can get any one of those you said.

I play ALOT of games outside the RPG realm, I really calmed down since i hit 18 though, I still play games but not as much as I used to. I wanna get a Xbox 360, but Id rather get the Wii when it comes out. Im a HUGE sony fan, but $600 for the PS3, it better do alot more than play games. Walk my dog, feed me, fix my car, ALOT.

Find it.

Chrono Trigger is the best, though, with FF7 tied. FF6 (FF3 here in the states) is amazingly good as well - some will argue better than FF7.

Resident evil was so rushed, poorly written and so off the games plot it just ruined it all for me, I have yet to see silent hill, I may when they show it on starz or HBO it just looked kinda blah. I'm more excited that day of the dead is being remade, and remade more to romeros original script, the day of the dead original film was filmed using a rushed script change after they cut the budget by several Million dollars months before shooting, so the remake will be the original script mostly and looks to be quiet good. It'll be nice having all of the original dead movies remade and having the originals plus haveing land of the dead as the 4th installment.

That's the last thing I remember hearing and I thought they said the guy from "28 Days Later" was working the script, pretty positive on the Jackson not so much on the script.

I thought Silent Hill was pretty boring, but I never played the video game so maybe that's why I don't have the connection.

Resident Evil 2 rocked the house. Also Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead, Dead Alive, Bad Taste and Boy Eats Girl cold rocked the party.

yeah im coming late into this thread. But yeah.. Silent Hill is very good... Im waiting on Sept. 19 for the movie "Stay Alive" to come out. Anyone seen it? I thought it was pretty cool and good.
