Well, this morning I had to take the Supra to inspection for shipping back to the US. Those shitheads threw a huge fit because they could barely read the emissions sticker under the hood. WTF did they expect from a 22 year old car? A brand new shiny sticker? So I got angry with the inspector and told him to get his fucking glasses and look at it. After some complaining he did and then by some form of a miracle he was able to read it then. Who would have though that glasses can help you see things.....hmmmmm new concept in the world. Found some old grass in places I didn't know grass could pile up, and a small leak that was not yet dripping so when he told me about it, and then turned his head I quickly wiped it away and asked him what leak he was talking about. He decided to come back to where it WAS, and then got mad when he saw that it was gone. I guess he shouldn't have turned away without writing it down first.....Well, after alot more complaining by the company, and some arguing, I got the paperwork all done and she is in the lot waiting for the car transport! She will be in St. Louis no later than Oct 4! I finally get to take it home.

What is you're out of pocket cost? I'm planning on shipping mine to germany when I move over there.

If he gets the same deal that we do... service personnel get free shipping for their vehicle. :) Within limits, of course - a tour here is usually 4 years, and you get your car shipped there and back at no charge.

And that is correct. It cost me nothing to ship mine back from here. If you are not military then it will cost a little bit to get it over seas. Not to mention that if you are coming to Germany, then you would have to make your way all the way up north to Bremmerhaven to the port there, or about 2 hours west to Emden to pick it up. I went just inside the main gate of my Army Post here and they took it for shipping.

ALso good luck with the TuV over here. If your car is not stock then you might have to pay to have everything on the registration reflect that. Emissions is a BITCH here. my german friend has to keep taking his test pipe out of his Blitz system and putting a CC back in there just to pass TuV. Plus he has to take the wheels spacers off...... all sorts of dumb shit here.
