For building something that may be bits and pieces of a Honda but 100% his own creation. To build something that is one-of-a-kind, and all yours. Or maybe for the sheer challenge of it. That would be my reason. Who knows?

the toyota cavalier wasn't built by toyota, it was built by GM, then shipped to Japan, the only differences were badges and RHD option i think.
