So I took off my hatch with the busted window and replaced it with my new maroon hatch, looks kinda dirty but its got a window, $100, I cant complain. I still have to hook all the wiring back up that I cut, but that wont take me more than an hr.

Cleaning everything up

I had a question about this, I found this while I was working on it yesterday, is this Fuel Pump access?? Because I was under the impression you have to drop the fuel tank to change this or anything...

How do I prep the rust? Yeah the drain plugs, I was told they were there AFTER I soaked it up with towels LOL.

the entire assembly the fuel pump is attached to has to come out, and there are fuel hoses that have to be disconnected to get it out, its nearly impossible to do it with the tank installed.

Ummm...that's the fuel sender unit. It will come out with the tank installed. The pump is under a different access panel on the top of the tank...you must drop the tank to get to it.

No, it is impossible :icon_razz Unless you cut another access hole like the one for the sender, but you would have to drop the tank to do this also. (ask me how I know ;) )
