So I got the head off and at first glance everything looked fine. Until I once again put the breaker bar on the crank pulley and turned it over again. The very front piston stayed at the top while the rest turned easily. So i took a closer look at the piston and the cylinder is slightly ovaled around the piston. Its flush on the piston on the front and rear, but the left and right slides of the piston have about a 1-2mm gap where I can see the rings :aigo: . Looks like this thing got pretty d*mn hot and starved of oil or somthing. And the rear clyinders have oil/coolant on them with a good amount of gritty substance mixed in. Well sh*t, I was hoping it wouldnt be this drastic. With some tapping from a ratchet I was able to make the seized piston drop down but thats it. Looks like ill be ordering a new motor. The head looks like its in great shape so if anyone wants something off this motor besides what you know if broken, just tell me. Ill have some pictures up for you guys later tonight...

I come from a land down under
In the past I've seen where a mechanic has gotten a bit enthusiastic with a ring groove cleaning tool and the piston breaks off at the Oil ring groove!

Wasn't it making a horrible noise?

Nah, sorry I should have added this to my last post but i didnt think it would get any views. I bought the car in this condition so I have no idea how it ran before this. Its funny, it smells like he used gear oil in the engine but when you rub it between your fingers its sticky and not slippery. Wonder if the last owner got some sugar in the gas tank. Geez I hope not, it has a full tank and i dont want to drop it...
