Engine bay is black and was done with just the block in the car I believe.

Body work and paint was done by the painter from the shop I used to work at. He got the VIP hook up.

It still has not been wetsanded and buffed so it is far from looking as good as it will eventually, you just wait!

Ben you're slow!

ok cause i plan on changing my car from burgandy to black, and hate having the body black but when opening the hood its all red underneath. When im doing my motor swap, i plan on painting the bay flat black myself. Did you guys have to use any high temp paint for the heat inside the engine bay or just regular paint?

Car looks great:aigo: but how come you painted the toyota emblem?

ended up being a miscommunication with the painter, but i kinda like the non-chrome emblem look, stands out less on the body

very nice !, did you remove the Idle Air Control Valve ?

ya, the car is on a stinger, so im using another valve (the filter by the brake master cylinder) just used a freeze plug on that hole

i used a high temp enamel paint for the engine bay. i was thinkin the same way with opening the hood and having a white engine bay with a dark grey car, woulda looked horrible without painting it

and thanks for the compliments guys, its been a PITA, but itll all be worth the work and money once im out driving it

yup exactly. even tho some ppl or race teams prefer a white engine bay so you can spot leaks better but thanks for the info. great build.

How did this turn into racing yet again? Sorry, I guess I missed it. I suppose your next step will be busting out the ruler? ;)
