Hello all, names Ian and I am from Jacksonville Florida.

I had always wanted a MKIII Supra, but the opportunity just never came up.
1st car was an 86' Toyota Cressida. I had always wanted to do a 1jzgte swap into it but when the time came, it was up to a MKIII Supra 1jzgte front clip or a down payment on a new car. I went with the new car. Bought an 03' VW GTI, drove it daily for 7 years. Did some stupid things, and went back and fixed them and did some good things. I sold it a few months back and stepped into another car.

I was browsing one of the forums I frequent and someone had posted a super clean MKIII and it reignited the need for one. I hadn't planned on picking one up till next year because my wife and I are trying to buy a house at the end of the year. I was talking to a close friend of mine about getting one and he said that he had one at his grandfathers wrecking yard that they are about to destroy. I got some info on it and took a look at it.

Turns out it has a 1jzgte, and a good bit of aftermarket goodies. We came to a deal that was too good to pass up and this is where I am today. I still don't have the car at my house yet as we are waiting for the title to come in. But hopefully in the next week or so I will have it and I can start doing work on it.

I have big plans for it. But for the time being I am just going to take it easy, I can't be dumping too much money into it right now. Basic plans are a full OEM color respray, wheels, suspension, bride seats, and single turbo.

Here are a few cell phone shots of it sitting in the weeds at the wrecking yard. It isn't a looker just yet, but once I start working on it I am hoping to make it a clean example of a MKIII.

Incase anyone is interested, the rest of my garage/driveway is occupied with an 83' BMW 320i, 91' Mercedes Benz 300E, 03' VW GTI 24V VR6(not the one I recently sold), and an 04' Audi S4 Avant.

Thanks everyone.
It hurts to see it there, but out of the 18 cars they have lined up for the crusher, I saved this one from it.

The car is clean in relative terms, not riddled with rust, no accidents it appears, and the body is straight.

I'm not one to rush my projects along, so I will be taking my time and making sure its done right.

It doesn't run now, missing a handful of boost pipes and such. But I'm hoping to get it running shortly.

I got such a good deal on it that I don't care if I can't get it running, I'll pull the motor and rebuild it if that's the case.

Just hope it's "just missing boost pipes and such.". Have you had a mechanic check the engine out? It would still run with missing boost pipes. The interior looks like it needs a bit of work too. What's wrong with the hood?

Anyway, nice find. How much did you get it for?
