I did a search and learned a few things but I specifically was after if any of you had installed one.. The stock location annoys me slightly and I'd like to move it up to an easy access.

Pros, cons? I am assuming its all pros, however I'm searching the facts. pictures and/or experience are fine.

thanks.

It's not that bad, i can change my filter in 5 mins from the top. At first I was going to relocate it then decided not to after I figured out how easy it is to remove it. ;)

I agree, I never found it hard to chamge filters on the 1jz or 2jz in the MKIII.
Its way easier than a 7mgte filter change for sure and you can get to it from the top.
Ofcourse if it is hard for you, then you do whats best. You may consider adding an oil cooler in the mix if you relocate.

if you are going to the extent of a relocation kit, replace the oil cooler with an external one.

They make internal oil coolers ? :) j/k

lol.. most of the time I understand upgrades, but to me an upgraded oil cooler doesn't seem the least bit neccessary. PS cooler, hell yes. All I wanted was to make oil changes a bit easier thats all, im lazy at times.
