Hey thinkin about removing the molding on my 88 and filling them in so it will look like it was never there.

I know someone has done This but can't find pics anywhere so if anyone has any pics of a mk3 like this please post them thanks

Just want to see how the end result looked.

Fair warning... this is a *LOT* of work. Randy, the owner of the car posted, is a professional bodyman. Metal for each piece was cut to fit, welded into place, then smoothed to a better than factory finish.

I've seen many attempts at this, and I've only seen the one that was decent in the end.

if he only made the plastic go away infront of the rear tires it would flow alot better, it kind of ruins it...

Trust me when I say that there are a lot of things he would like to do to the car. However, the reality of it is that he's the owner and labor behind a successful shop that specializes in Supra work. When he has time to work on his own car, it means he isn't making a living. Luckily for him, he rarely gets time to work on his own car.

I can appreciate the time, effort and skill involved in this mod. But the finished product is not appealing to me at all.

Destroys the car's lines and makes the vehicle look terrible. The smooth sides remind me of an old Integra.
