Why did you post this thread twice?
And yes, oil will come out the driveshaft end unless you block it up.
And if you don´t have a driveshaft, why do you want to put oil in the tranny?

-First I started another thread in the lubrication category, and it said it needed approval by mod before it would be posted. Then I just posted a thread in the General MKIII category right away.. now it seems that the first thread that needed approval has been moved to the General MKIII category, so that can pretty much just get deleted now.

-I've just done my engine swap, and haven't got a driveshaft yet.. so when I start the engine now I have to have the clutch in.. so I basically can't go out from the car to check the engine when I start the engine.. if I have gearbox oil in then I can move about checking out the engine, as I won't need to keep the clutch in.

There is a Toyota Special Service Tool (SST) that is available to plug it with. Dunno that I'd go through ordering it and all that. I'd just work on other stuff while you wait for the driveshaft, to do this step.

I made one with the yoke from an old driveshaft. Make dropping the tranny a clean job.
