Figgie: E-85 conversion for the MKIII Supra

If it doesnt keep well, then how is it possible for gas stations to keep it?

Hey Figgie...for say a 600rwhp setup on a built 7mgte what size injectors do you recommend for e85? I am converting to e85 very soon! gonna run a a1000 pump, sumped tank, anodized fuel rail, return and feed fuel lines don't know the sizes yet.

I would say 1000cc injectors will be more than enough..

E-85 does not keep well, so no, 55 gal drums are out of the question.

I was told by a local VP dealer that I could keep it in 55 gallon drums. Does anyone have any info proving either one wright or wrong? Thanks.

From what im seeing on google is that it is close to 60-100 days which is close for gasoline. The problem with e85 is that it absorbs water so if you live in a humid climate make sure there is a good seal on the drum and dont let it breath for long periods of time.

Thanks Ray, I was looking at 1000cc or 1200cc injector dynamics or precision injectors those are the best from what I hear

my opinion, am no mechanic,or tech guy,i would say 1200cc, you need 30% more injector as gasoline, and running at 75%-85% of it capacity of its duty

I don't know of many places in North America as humid as Alabama. I will definately make sure I get one with a great seal if I get one. Thanks.
