well i got tired of looking at the stock intake manifold,an eye sore,so i decided to buy a d-plenum from rmr, didnt really look at the specs on the size of it.i was really expecting a 3in tube, but when i got it the thing is a massive 5in o.d and 4.5 i.d .i sent it a few days ago to a welder that works with my cousin, really good welder, especially that im using the stock runners..so hopefully ill be getting it back next week and install it with the q45 tb i just bought..

Looks pretty good.

Is your battery in stock location?
You still have AC?

i relocated both battery and alternator(lipp) and the ac setup was jacked up so i just took out all the lines and compressor.

Just take him beer without asking he'll be over the moon!
(just means next time you need something done he'll be happy to help you out, trust me it makes a huge difference to attitude) :)

I don't know how much of a different it would make, but I would chamfer the edges of the runners :icon_razz

I agree with the beer too, lunch is usually on me when someone is doing a job for me. Don't like to get them drunk WHILE they're doing the job...lol

hopefully you angled that q45 flange downward, because if you haven't, I have a feeling your TB is going to hit the hood when all is said and done.

If you put the TB straight out it will hit the hood for sure. There is a cross brace in the hood itself. Really need to angle it downward at about 15 degrees but I am still trying to figure out how the housing does not touch at the very tip anyways! But nice work and as suggested radius the ports.

Seth

the housing is lower than the fpr,i closed the hood never got close, even from the side i never seen the top of the manifold. hopefully i get lucky with the tb will clear.yeah the welders going to fix the ports for me.i was going to buy the velocity stacks but 40$ a pop thats too rich for my blood.
