Is there any way you could get me the specifics on what Ford IAC he is using, I've been looking for one that is readily available and not too expensive, but i'm not getting anywhere after going to every auto parts place in town plus hours of research online.

Looks like this....I plan on calling electromotive, and asking for the correct model # that they use, and order it online else where, but order the relocarion cube from them or their reseller; which ever is cheaper. I will definitely have this ordered today.

This seems like a good place to find a price base;)

I see it on my friends car, and I was like WTF is that, it looks way better than stock and was idleing flawlessly.

I picked up a Mustang 5.0 ISC at the local Ford dealer for $100.
I dunno if that's too expensive for ya Aaron.

That Relo Block just may keep me from returning that ISC, too.
Thanks for the heads-up Figgie !!

I found many solutions to this problem, and found out that there is a cheap way to go, and a expensive way to go. The cheap way is to order 325-81112, and the ordering of a GM type IAC motor. The other way is to get the FAST system remote IAC for blown applications from Comp Cams 1 877 334 8355 ask about pn 307016. The 307016 is a remote unit that plumbs into the back of your intake on a hose, and thats all there is to it. To increase idle it just opens up and lets in air to increase idle speed. I already ordered the 325-81112 which has dual hose barbs that allow one barb to the intake any where after the throttle, and a hose barb plumbed pre throttle to let in the correct amount of air for idle control. The Fast unit only needs one vacuum source and for 180.00 may not be too bad an option since the 325 81112 and the GM style IAC will cost about the same price plus you need to add another vacuum port before the trottle body for it to work properly!

Good info, QS.

Since I already had the Ford IAC in-hand, (& the Ford throttle body mounted up) ... I went looking for the Electromotive block, just last night. I ended up getting a similar block + a block-off plate w/ vacuum ports (for the t.b.) from Accufab. $80 for the set.
So I'm into it $180, too ... but I can't say that this is meant for 'blown applications', like the FAST system is.

I think I may have a much less expensive option:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...y.com:80/?from=R40&satitle=290058902304&fvi=1
$14 shipped. A lot of the european vehicles use a 2 wire pwm iac like this with barbed inlet and outlet.
If you bought it from an auto parts store it would be a lot more but there are a bunch on ebay all the time.

Eh, only prob is that TECs don't do pwm iacs IIRC...I just gave up on the IAC idea for now...nuthin wrong with a 1k idle...warm...

I just recieved the electromotive remote 325-81112 with a 326-81111 pig tail harness plug for the valve, and went to autozone and scored a AC107 GM ISC from a 92 grand Prix for 41.00 to make it work.
The AC107 is the GM type ISC valve that will work. I tried a different valve and it doesn't seal to keep the valve from leaking

unfortunatly you are correct

hell the only one that does PWM modulation that I know off is Motec, Autronic, and even Haltech. I think Wolf3d does to. That covers all the aussie brands :)
