Few misc questions

I researched and found nothing really on these few questions that I have.

Im not gonna run power steering if I take out all the lines can I just put Bolts in the holes that the lines went in?

Can I take the airbag sensor unit out under the center console along with the wires since I am gonna be running a aftermarket steering wheel?

What is the black box under the passenger seat?

The car is a 91 Turbo, was an automatic and will be a 5 speed after winter.

Do not boltthe holes, I heard you should leave them open, or atleast put pipe on them so ake it harder for stuff to get in, or loop them. Black box is most likely the stereo amplifier.

as far as removing the airbag stuff, once you get it up and runnin, unplug it and see what happens. should be ok.

and for the rack: most of the mustang guys i know around here that remove the ps just make sure the rack still has a lil fluid in it and loop the lines together. ya wanna keep a lil fluid in there to keep it lubed up!!

Alright thanks guys. When I looked at the rack today i thought to myself why dont I just loop the lines. Now I have the answer.

What, did you think I couldn't answer those for ya? lol
You can just remove the airbag computer, yes, but the yellow wires going to the wheel, and to the module are integrated ridiculously complicated into the main harness, the one behind the dash attached to the firewall.
I think I've decided to go with an 89 harness for my car.

If you want, we can sit down with the TEWD and figure out what can be removed from the harness that's airbag-only.
