Thank you!

whats the power steering unit out of? get it working yet?

It's out of a 2002 Saturn Vue. I was able to buy the whole steering column for $100. It's finished mechanically but I haven't wired it up yet. I'll get that done as soon as I get the interior back in.

Looks good Fernando. Did you tint the rear quarter glass when it was out of the car to get to the dot matrix that's hidden under the interior panels?

We didn't unfortunately. But it's all from the same batch of paint and I keep the car out of the sun so hopefully it keeps the shade pretty close

I finished the entire floor today. I'll probably do the walls next Im shooting to have most of the interior back in the car by the end of the weekend.

Thanks for the kind words! Many many hours have been spent on the car and I still have a lot more to go...

This is how far I got this passed weekend. I stopped at the hatch area. I'll pick up rear speakers this week, fit them into the factory boxes and continue on.

Don't get me anymore sidetracked lol. I have to get this car back to TX2K!

It's a closed-cell foam sheet called EZ Cool. Weighs nothing, works great for insulation, and helps with sound deadening. I read a lot of reviews online of other people having success with it so I decided to give it a try. I spoke with James Ward mid project and he actually used the same material and loves it

LoL. yeah... I started my interior color change like 4 years ago, only halfway done haha. I'm gonna have to refer to you when I restore my Supra from the ground up as well.

More progress...

I was happy to see the factory connectors fit perfectly. You can see in the picture, I just had to cut 1.5" from the rim to sit flush.

A little foam for a better seal.

Done

Plenty of space under the rear panel

Got some stuff in this week. Almost time to focus on the motor. The block has been machined, just needs to be assembled.

272's

I should have valves and valve stem seals in this week to complete the head.

I have a few updates to add

The last pieces for the head came in. I just need to find time to drop it off at the machine shop.

The bumper came was finally finished so I installed the rest of the rear interior. It's going to get a deep cleaning but, for now, Im glad it's back in place.

Im still on the hunt for rear mudflaps in good condition

It's nice to see the Supra taking shape again
