I was reading that everybody is using the FIPG instead of the fel pro cork gasket. I could't find a final verdict on this. Does the fel pro seal properly? Also, would fel pro engine gaskets be mistake in comparision from the ones that could be bought from toyota?

I've always used the FIPG on motor rebuilds and never had any problems. Never tried a cork gasket, I doubt it's ability to work on a turbo Japanese motor.
The non-cork Felpro engine gaskets I've used before, they seem to work alright.
