Alright so I did this awhile back. I was curious why my e-brake light was on, I thought it might have been the same issue these mk3's always have had so I never looked into it. FYI guys when I bought this car I never expected it to have so many half assed jobs done to it. Luckily I've fixed some of them, kind of hard trying to repair things when you have a limited amount of time and money. But back to the situation. When I bought it, it came with a HKS turbo timer Type-0 already installed, but it never worked so I decided to look it up on some different forums (even not supra related ones) but luckily I found someone that did it step-by-step on a MK3 Supra. So I decided to take everything off check how the wires were set up and it seems like they did something right in there. They bought the wiring harness adapter from HKS and everything seemed okay up until I check on the grey wire
Which apparently has to be hooked up to the
e-brake wire or whatever. Well, when I took the stuff off to check on the e-brake the grey wire wasn't hooked up to anything. The weird thing is when I looked at the guys step-by-step information he had a wire hooked up on his
e-break to the grey wire.
so I think I'm missing mine or what's going on here? I swear whoever had this car before me should never touch or work on a car again if they're going to do half ass shit. The other day I found out why my car was overheating, idiots used a hose on the radiator twice the length of the original one, zip tied to other hoses so it can bend around other hoses lol. It finally gave out after rubbing with one of the pulleys so much and leaking all of the liquid out.
