FCD and SCD, is having both redundant???

On a 1J, isn't having a Fuel Cut Defencer and Speed Cut Defencer redundant or am I wrong? If it's redundant I'll sell one and install the other. If they both serve a purpose I'm installing both. Thanks guys.

No, IMO it is not.

I would run them both and plan to. Speed cut to go fast and Fuel cut to give the twins 16-17 psi. I highly recommend a wideband with the FCD though.

Already have a wideband, Apexi SAFC Neo, Greddy Full Auto turbo timer, and Aeromotive FPR

not at all. you need one to get past the 120 mph mark, the other takes care of fuel cut. if your only gonna use one then i guess youll just have to pick between limited boost, or staying under 120mph

Ok. For some reason my brain wasn't functioning propperly. I'll be installing both. Why choose when I can have it all right?
