Well done to them for being a independent company taking on the big boys, and I look forward to hearing more about this 220MPH Sedan he mentioned, but I'm not a fan of the typical American mindset that is the best way to crack a nut is to use a Sledgehammer. Yes this thing might be faster, but I'd rather be in the Veyron at 250MPH, even if I was going 7MPH slower.

I can't see the link on my phone but im 99 precent sure you are talking about the Shelby SuperCars Ultimate Areo. Correct?
The shelby actually has reached speeds of around 270mph but to be an official record it has to go one direction then the opposite direction and they average the two.

The bugatti is limited....its called not enough hp, not areodynamic enough, and its too fucking ugly.

a cD of .357 is actually pretty damn high. Only slightly lower than that of the Veyron's (.36 with wing down and in lowered position - .41 with wing in "attack" mode).
Compared to the Koenigsegg CCR which has a cD of .297, and the new CCX, which supposedly has a drag of .277.
I'm pretty sure that SSC is using the DART billet block, as seen in this guy's build: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=1948784
Me personally, i think the front is fucking hideous. Lord it's ugly. The front windows are straight from a diablo, but the back half is nice. Its just.... piss poor american styling as usual. That being said.........

but yeah, the HP gauge was pretty cool.
