LOL I love how you guys think all 15 years olds...

Wait, never mind, I've never met anyone else who defies the stereotype... ;)

I had my Supra for my first car :wavey: and I still have it... But then again it is NA :biglaugh: Not a really good first car if your parents don't support it though.. to tell you the truth I am still leeching off my parents but I listen to them because they still own me even though I am old enough to leave.

While I wouldn't say I'm "leeching" off my parents, I agree that I listen to them and respect their opinions. They're allowing me to earn a degree which will give me the oppurtunity to make a good living. I am very grateful. :)

I plan on giving each of my parents 10 grand after I pay off my student loans. They've been very helpful and I firmly believe if they hadn't made the sacrifices they have for me, I would be looking to making a living at Best Buy :nono:

My Dad still hates the supra, but every month that goes by that I stay ticket-free, I think he gets a little more ok with it. :)

Well my dad said... school and no work or pay rent lol. When I am done with school and get a job I will probably buy my dad a cool car before I get one of my own. My dad doens't really like my supra too. He offered me his m3, which he just bought, if I get good grades. Lets just say.. I am aiming for a 2J.

Yeah right, 10 grand, I bet you'll buy a bigger turbo and a standalone atleast....:biglaugh:

If I make what I'm expecting to when I'm 30 and no longer have student loans, I'll have enough to make both happen ;)

Actually a BIGGER turbo doesn't necessarily mean anything.... I'm N/A :D

your parents are the most whack parents, that is completely unfair(minus the driving it part). i deffinitly dont have that much self control to not argue with mine haha.

Since you can't drive it now, like everybody else says sell it and save the money and then buy another one later. As of right now, it sits and collects dust.

Thats what I did, but then again. To some of you guys id be too young to have a supra. Im 18, but i had a Jeep Cherokee (that i bought for $500) for about 1-2 years. and then i got the supra.

I bought my supra when I was 14. Couldn't drive it, I just worked around with it, stole the key one day, rode my skateboard to Osh, and made a dupe of it. I boguht it non operational, but when I got it running before my 15th birthday I just HAD to drive it up and down the street. Damn good times.

Bought the TT car when I was 18, Now look what I have, an old man car.

JJ: You made me chuckle here :)

The whole thread makes me chuckle. My general policy is to ignore threads that contain the words parents, mom, dad, or school but I couldn't resist this one.

Some of those rules are truly stupid but we're getting only one side of the story. They pale in comparison to what should be imposed on him for smoking though. Myself I would not have titled the car for him. That cash would have been invested for his future, even if it was only a few years down the road future. Nor would he have a car like this for his first legal driving experience.

That said he's probably a decent kid. I'll give him one thing: for 15 his grammar and spelling put many here to shame.

I would deffinatly sell the car. Its too fast for your first car. You dont even know how to drive yet. I'm 100% sure you would get into an accident with that. And it wouldnt be good! I know. It happened to me. And im 19yrs old. I bought my first car when i was 18, and to think that was late enough. And sure enough i crashed it being stupid. And i regret it 200%. So it would just be a good idea to sell it and buy a slower car when you get your license. Save that supra from being destroyed. ;)

I think some of the rules are fair. i know a person who bought a $11000 porsche 928 GTS for his 15 year old kid. He couldn't drive it until he was 16. he turned 16 and still couldn't drive the car when he wanted to. the thing is, late at night around 2 am he took the car out and crashed it.

i told the father and others also told the father not to buy that car for a new driver. the father said oh his child is very very responsible and wont wreck it. no mater how responsible you think you are, you will get in a wreck with a sports car when you a new driver.

I know when i was 16 i bought a MKII supra and smashed it into a tree and I thought I was very responsible.

Some of the rules are kind of stupid. just talk with them and ask them why they say you can't look at the car for more than 30 mins. etc.

Maybe because you were doing donuts in your front yard when you had your mk2?

I knew this would happen. He buys a Mk3 and migrated here. I guess he got tired of pissing off everyone at Celicasupra.com with all his whiny, pathetic bitching. When I saw he was here I decided to wait and see what kind of lessons he has learned from being flamed in every thread he has ever made.

He did not. I looked on you tube for the video of the lawn donuts but it wasn't to be found. I wouldn't give you the keys to a riding mower. Your parents are right.
