Picture of the remaining heat crack after machining. its tiny but its there. Crappy phone pics ftl
A picture of flywheel work:
Not bad for $45
I don't think that tiny crack will mean anything in the next 2-3 years and i don't intend on dragging my car so it should last until my next engine.
My new clutch setup is now all ACT, HD pressure plate purchased from Driftmotion.com, and an ACT 6 puck clutch disc to wear out my cracked OEM flywheel in good fun

LOL there were 2 cracks that were longer, and that little bit is all that remains. Shallow, 5/8" long.
Besides affecting the life of the clutch disc and feel of engagement at start, i can't see any other adverse affects out of something that small. Should i worry about it?
Cracks get bigger, big enough and the flywheel comes apart... That is a VERY VERY BAD THING. Flywheel failures are extremely destructive and will maim/kill...
