I am looking for sombody that can make me a template of the factory wing holes so I can make the holes in my 90. I got all of the parts just need to make the holes.
How about this for an idea: get some play doh, make a thin layer, like your gonna make a pie, then take your spoiler and carefully make an imprint of the bolt holes, then you know the bolts are gonna land, then with a pencil carefully poke the play doh where the bolts were , make sense??
I like the playdoh idea but the measurements might get me closer. I do have the hardware it came with the wing. I have been back for about 4 months now just have been very busy.
damn man i wish you had said something like 3 weeks ago i just did that to my 91 and i threw out the temps i knew i soulda kept them. i actually just laid some like poster bored on mine and poked out my holes and cut it out and than measured everything like 4 billion times and only messed up one hole on the big middle piece. good luck not that hard once u sit down and lay it all out i thought i was gonna crap when my dad started punching holes in my car.
Bump I am still looking for sombody to help me with a template. I was thinking of doing it with construction paper and using the edge of the rear hatch as a guide. Could somebody help?
No offense but you don't need a template. Get the wing and place it on the car and measure. It's quite simple. Take your time, be careful. Measure twice, cut once.
