Hey doing my hg this weekend was redoing it all and getting setup so i dont have to mess with it for several months at least.. but noticed the a/c lines have r134 fittings and no adapters on them at all.. When did they switch to r134? I assumed it would of been after 92... any thoughts?

R134 did not come availible until the mid 90's. 95 / 96 was the years that auto manufactures changed over.

No, it was earlier than that that a lot of companies made the change, though the regulations stated that the change didn't have to happen until the 1995 model year, a lot of companies started earlier. The MKIV was R134a from the get go, and I believe the Previa, and Tercel changed for 1994 as well.

My 1994 Ranger is R134a as well.
