Factory Fuel Filter

I've used the search function and only got fuel cut queries; what are the specs on the factory fuel filter?

A buddy of mine has a Purolator F54794 Replacement for the 300zx brand new, and was wondering if its worth the swap (for a 7mgte).

It usually doesn't need to be changed.

It is not fun to do (you must drop the tank), and I don't think there are any cases of it being clogged. There is a sock filter on the end of the pump that catches anything that might have a chance at clogging the actual filter.

you dont have to drop tank to change it i have done it and when i did it was very clean like you said

I agree. Not to mention that filter isn't the one Purolator lists for a MKIII...
