it is activated/deactivated through the door lock key cylinders.
Its triggered from both doors, hatch lid, and hood.

when triggered, it sounds the alarm horn and disables the starter.
My oppinion is if you are going to stay it, then rewire the starter disable circuit to kill the fuel pump and or ignition power cause if you have a manual trans car, the car can still be push started if the ign switch is hot wired and or if the ign. lock cylinder is broke to use a screwdriver and many car thieves do.
