i own a 91 supra w/the standered 7mgte. and those nice shiney plenums on ebay are $500 and up my question is i found a bolt on plenum for a 2jz motor for $250 would thaT BOLT UP TO THE LOWER INTAKE OF THE 7MGTE AND IF NOT HAVE YOU HEARD OF / OR KNOW OF ANYONE FABRICATING THIS TYPE OF SET UP FOR THE 7mgte engine thanks

Wrong section for this question and search a little. There are plenty of threads on this subject already. Also check the FS threads. You might be able to score a good one for a good price and not some eGay stuff.
this is the introduction section, Hello welcome to the forum. As for the intake, it'd take some modding to work on a 7m. There is a front facing intake manifold on ebay for the 7m... but idk how good of quality they are, I had a friend order one for a honda. Needless to say, it needed some work.
no it wont bolt on.
you need your 7m lower intake and the 2jz upper and lower to make it work. you cut both lowers in half and weld the 7m and 2jz one togther, then it will bolt on.

There is no way to make a 2J manifold fit the 7M without a LOT of fab work. It's cheaper to buy a purpose built one. This has been tried several times, and never been finished satisfactorily.

You could of course, cut the head flange from the 7M lower,
and cut most of the runners off the 2J plenum, and run new tubes between the 2.......
But I hope you have a friend that will do all the fabrication, and welding, or it will cost more than just buying a sethron manifold in the first place, and not function or look as good.
Or just watch the for-sale section, good used sethron & that other guy's customs pop up all the time.
