I always find it interesting when people immediately associate racism with the south...I've spent alot of time in the US and I've seen alot more racism in places like DC, New Jersey etc. than say, Alabama or Georgia...Hell, we have tons of it up here in Toronto even. It seems as though many people don't realize that the Confederacy isn't exactly what drives racism today, with some isolated exceptions

i live in New York City, and racism is just alive here as it is anywhere else. During October or November, at my girlfriends college, Columbia University, one of the most expensive as private school around, somebody hung a noose on an a black professor door. It was all over the news and on T.V. Racism occurs all ova. It really needs to end.
