Well, my neighbor below me moved out. The painters (contracted through the agency) came and repainted, and left. Low and behold my wash bucket with 50 dollars of car products in it which was sitting inside of my coiled up hose is missing. Those bastards stole it!
The ironic part is that before my neighbor(the one who just moved out) moved in, they tried to take it then too! Luckily my other neighbor stopped them and told them it was mine.
I went up to the rental place today and told them. They called the boss of the painters and he said he would find out if they took it and would deliver it to me personally. I have a feeling I'm not going to get my stuff back. This pisses me off, because the entire time I have lived here nobody has ever messed with my stuff except those contractor bitches.

What you should do.
Is next time you have a neighbor move out, buy MORE EXPENSIVE stuff and put it in the same spot. but instead of wrapping it up in a hose, wrap it up in a deadly viper or rattlesnake =).
then when they are tripping out and in a panic, grab all the cleaning products and shove it in their eyes and their mouths.

k?

We left 2 18 inch roller set ups (if you are a painter, you know thats a big chunk of cash for how much a painter makes) and "someone", the home owner who was a contractor himself walked off with them after we left for the day. I asked him and he immediatley replied, nope, havent seen any tools laying around. Needless to say, I didnt finish the job and still got the deposit, which wasnt even the price of the 2 sleeves, frames, poles, buckets, and a few other small tools. But better than nothing i guess. I hate people who have to steal. There is nothing in life worth owning if you have to steal it

thieves suck, i had a router (the carpenters type, not the computer kind) stolen from me not to long ago. that day sucked because i knew all the work i was doing was just going to pay for a tool i should already have.

Yeah, when you said:
my wash bucket with 50 dollars of car products in it which was sitting inside of my coiled up hose is missing.

Are we to assume this coiled up hose is suppose to represent an internal/external relationship with your residence?

Where was yo' bucket?

Like I said, the bucket has sat in the same spot for over a year without anyone bothering it. I only have a few neighbors and they are all friends. The hoses are tiered, so you know which faucet is upstairs/downstairs. It was inside of my coiled up hose, and they had originally tried to steal it. They knew it was mine.

Outside or not, thieves blow. I really dont understand the bullshit mentality of people (cough, cough, theives...) thinking its not that bad to steal if someone left something out in the open.

Stealing an unlocked (even running) car is still nothing more or less than stealing a car.

Its a shame more people dont have a conscience to keep them in line.

Sorry to hear about your run in with low-lifes.

I'm not arguing with you.

Just because something was safe out in the open for a year, doesn't make it impossible to be stolen.

I didn't give justification to the thieves...

You avoided answering the question of it's location because you knew someone would say "What did you expect would happen if you left something outside?"

I'm sure someone saw something, just take it to small claims court.
I'd probably invest in a lockable shed next time too.
