Two points to make about ebay.
1. If you plan to make a claim, do NOT leave negative feedback. I myself have worked hard to have an extremely good feedback rating. I've used a couple of names on there as a seller (different times of course), and received a negative on both names. 1 negative versus 650 positives on one name, and 1 versus 400 positives on the other. Both were problems that I would have easily taken care of before the negative was given, if they had just communicated. But once they were left, they can kiss my ass before I deal with them at all after that. You can agree with the seller to remove the negative if he will work with you.
2. Many people get confused by looking at a sellers feedback percentage. This is a flawed method of approving a seller. You MUST click on that number and get an idea of who you are dealing with. Here's an example: A seller who has had 10 transactions and only 1 of them was negative has a rating of 90 percent. He may be over looked by a buyer who wants "at least" a 95 or better. That same buyer may be the same idiot who buys from one of those guys who have a feedback rating of 35,000 and a percentage of 99. That 1 percent that is negative there represents 350 negatives. Who would you rather buy from? A lot of buyers don't understand this.
