Hey everyone, I have a question! I wanna run an external Aeromative fuel pump instead of just the 255 walbro fuel pump! Should I run a seperate resistor/relay setup on this or use the stock factory fuel pump wiring to complete this setup?

None of your fucking business
I ran a seperate relay for the A1000, the relay is triggered by the stock fuel pump wire. You run 12volts straight to the relay, ground the relay, then your 12volt connection to the pump and ground the pump itself. There is a wiring kit available for Aeromotive, I got mine from Summit.

Cool! Thanks a lot! You've answered a question I have pondered on for a while:nono:

yep mine is setup the same way. altho we eliminated some of the stock system as well. i would recommend running 10g wire for the battery feed to the relay, and 10g from the relay to the pump.

Didnt want to create a new post for a similar question so off with the revival :)

Im running an SX external pump similar to the aeromotive A1000, now if I want to turn my fuel pump on via a switch (not using the factory fuel system wiring) what would be my best option for power, something from the factory fuse box that turns on with the key ignition? I like running a switch because incase of anything I can kill fuel instantly and not worry about turning the key off, locking the steering wheel and crashing haha I was visualizing the car running and having to shut it off to roll to a stop

If you were to use your stock fuel pump wire to trigger a relay to the A1000 like previously stated, all you would need to do is break the stock fuel pump wire somewhere and wire each end into a switch.
