I bought this 1987 7MGTE in 2007 and it was in terrible shape BHG Blown turbo frozen calipers moldy interior leaking gas tank I mean you name it it was messed up in some way shape or form.
Since then I have done the following:
KYB GR-2 Struts
Eibach lowering springs
NGK Plug wires
New Heater Core and Hoses
Exhaust Studs all tapped and heli coiled (common problem)
Thermostat
Marlin Crawler shifter bushings and shifter socket
SS clutch line
New slave cylinder
Uninstalled Golden Eagle Vacuum Manifold With Fitttings
Uninstalled Projector Headlights that except H4 style bulbs, plug and play no other mods needed except bulb
PTP Turbo Blanket
Manual Boost Controller
3 inch exhaust from the downpipe back

I plan on rebuilding my motor in a few weeks I have Eagle H-beam rods JE pistons arp main studs OEM shimmed oil pump King race engine bearings and a cometic 1.2mm HG.
I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with OBX cam gears I have not heard good things on honda or DSM forums so I can only imagine they are not to good for our &M either. Also I plan on using Haledon Auto parts in haledon NJ, please chim in with any feedback regarding OBX or Haledon or any other tips or useful info would be great. Thanks in advance and I will post some more recent pics tomorrow night. I plan on running my stock ecu until the summer when I can afford a bigger turbo and a tune for my AEM V2.
