I can't seem to find the torque specifications for the exhuast manifold and for the turbo, does anyone know them off the top of your head?

TRSM says 29ft lbs on the mani and 33ft lbs for the turbo mounting nuts--

No feel, torque wrench FTW. The exhaust studs in the head are notorious for stripping and causing bad exhaust leaks. Drifmotion sells a kit to fix it, or you could DIY and stay metric ;).

I was just wondering about the "Driftmotion" kit would you use the same torque specs? or would you/ could you use a higher torque spec? Seems like 29 l.b.s. is not really enough. The back half of my exhaust was leaking, which I didn't know untill I replaced my turbo.

The proper torque spec is enough. The back half is where mine worked loose also, which is probably the exact same problem you're having. Don't over torque them.

Some are in tight spots, but if you've got monkey arms like me you should be ok ;). Be careful with torquing, I'm betting the threads will let got before they see 29 ft/lbs.

Doesn't really matter, they are going to work loose again shortly. Once they do that, it's damn near impossible to keep them tight without doing it frequently. The driftmotion kit works really well ;).

Lock tite will not work, don't try it, it can't handle the heat.

darn... i'll shoot for 29ft lbs.. i have about 5 hours to screw with it tonight is it enough? remember my car is a na-t so i don't have coolant lines and no hard lines for the oil feed or return.. i just don't wanna dive in on this project and not have enogh time to get it done tonight, but i really want my boost back for tomorrow
