My exhaust consist of a megan down pipe 3" exhaust no cats or resonater and a megan can muffler and to say without the silencer its a little to loud is an understatement. So i'm thinking i'm going to add either a cat or a resonater to my exhaust and i was just wondering which would quiet it down the most without robbing a lot of hp the only other option i was looking at eas changing to somthing like a dynomax turbo two muffler or something but i don't realy want to do that lol

Resonator and high flow cat will be great for the everyday driving. Its not like you need every last horsepower, you're not racing or anything. You'll still smoke Hondas.

Trust me, you're by far not the first to install a glasspack upstream of your muffler. I've done it and yes, it will quiet things down but what it won't do is rid you of the annoying low rpm howl.

The cat will create backpressure unless you buy an expensive hi-flow unit, and even then you're still gonna feel the backpressure.

In short, get a resonator and scrap the cat idea if you can get away without one.
