Exhaust pipe thickness...

Im goin with 3.5" stainless exhaust... How thick should I get the steel? 16ga, 14ga or 11ga? *.065", .083" and .120"* The price difference per foot: $13.30, $19.20 and $21.70 *respectively*

.065" is plenty for the Exhaust side Jake.

On my Downpipe I used 16ga. I think 18ga would have been too thin and when I bought my piping I never had the option to get 14ga or 11ga from Summit. 16ga welded very nicely with my MIG and wasnt too hard to cut. Id go 16.

Just went out and measured what I used it's .060" and more than thick enough.
