They are like welded practically onto the turbo hot side and head. Damn, any special ways to remove? i tried using a hammer and a screwdriver to separate the 2 but it ain't budging. thats what i get for a bone stock car for all it's life...

i don't want to state the obvious, but did you loosen all of the bolts and turbocharger support brackets?

lol yessir. They're all off, it's just the car has not ever been modded at all so everything is 20+ year old bolts.

my turbo elbow was practacly welded to the b ack of my turbo too
you need to wedge it off with something. use a very small screw driver to start with a hammer hitting the back, the ngo up to bigger ones, if your lucky you wont screw up the sealing surface.

ah, i see. if you're trying to get the turbo elbow off, heat it with a small torch, leave the turbo braces on, and give it a few taps here and there. don't really beat on it, as the head is aluminum as we all know, and you don't wanna be ripping out the exhaust manifold studs.

PB blast has always served me well, too.
