Exhaust leak behind head?

ok so I took my car in to get the flex pipe taken out of the exhaust because we figured that is was was leaking, and when we went to go pick it up the exhaust guy showed us where the leak was actually coming from. You can feel it coming out from behind the head somewhere, so the question is, where or what could be leaking back there? He said he thought it was the header at first, but felt farther, and he said he could tell it was back there. Anyone know?

If you're planning to use the block off plate on the EGR side of the cooler, you will still have an exhaust leak around the cooler. You have to block off the exhaust feed hole on the passenger side.

Don't forget, depending on the county you live in in Texas, the car will not pass emmissions w/o EGR.

thanks for the help jdub, the kit comes with 2 plates, is that one of them?
