Im about to order a Turbo back exhaust. Im going to use a TMS Downpipe, and Testpipe. Im just having a hard time deciding what exhaust to get, the BLITZ Nur spec, or the HKS Dragger. Does anybody have any input on this that could help me? My car is currently pretty much stock, although its got ARP Studs, Cometic MHG, Turbo XS MBC (Running 7 psi right now, going to run 12 when i get the exhaust) and a APEXi Power Intake. I heard the BLTIZ is a little too long but im not worried about that, im more worried about preformance. Thanks in advance.

haha thats sweet. Only thing im worried about is having to get it cut to fit. Although, could i just get the testpipe shortened instead of the exhaust itsself? You got a real whistly sound too. Do you have a DDP?

that 'whistley' noise i think you are hearing is his tires... LOL
or his bov...

if it needs to be shortened, then just shorten the test-pipe... you most likely wont have to though.

well figgie................................the system does come with a silencer for those that can't handle a little noise. it takes about a min to take off and on. i don't know what so great sounding about that BIC either. at wot all i hear is a bunch of spool from the gigantic turbo nate is running. but that is just my opinion. so each to his own. :icon_bigg

rennat your right about noise. when you do a 200+ft burnout on some back country road out where i live you get that noise. its the pebbly surface that is practically like sand paper to your tires.

fubar231 i have a hks dp, gutted cat, and my nurspec for my exhaust system. i get comments all the time. it does sound a little jz'ish when your on and off the throttle. i got my nurspec from suprastore.com. i paid $560 shipped. i live in cali to and there in florida. i think there a branch of titan because thats who i talked to. tell them you a supramania and forums member and he'll knock of like 60 bucks.

As far as performance/flow the RSR GTII make take the win over the other 3" systems.

I like my RSR but it can get loud in the car. (it came with a silencer but I refuse to use it) :evil2:

I got Blitz nur spec R and i love it . with silencer off , it's loud enough to waken the cops and with silencer on it's quiet enough for little baby . most of exhaust systems are designed for 12." cat however Blitz designed for 10.5" cat so if your test pipe 10.5" long then you don't have to worry about it . if you don,t have test pipe yet and realy like blitz ? BIC Perfomance have 10.5" test pipe for you ; they have long and short ( short one is the one you want ) , give them a call. btw RSR GTII exhaust is best bang for the buck if you can get one ,unfortunately ,they discontinued .:icon_bigg

Raptor Racing...

3" without a fartcan that everyone runs. It's also mellow but sounds angry as hell when you go WOT.

that drone is from the lower octave of the frequency spectrum. between 45hz and 60hz to be exact. no silencer will quiet that down unless it is about 30 feet long. now the "noise" as you so eloquently put it. lets see you or any one that is running that exhaust tolerate it for 6+ hours none stop.

as MelloYello put it a while back. Suicide enducing drone will make 6 hour seem like 40.

I have the Blitz NUR Spec on my 90, along with an HKS DP and test pipe back before the days of DDP when I ordered my sutff lol, I run it with 10psi of boost and a FMIC and intake and thats it for the big mods, sounds really good, scraps a lil since my cars lowered, as far as fitting all I had to do was have about 2 inches cut off where it joins the test pipe, NO BIGGY cost me 20 bukcs to have the muffler shop guy here in town install it all for me, that way I could relax and not get all tired LOL.

Hell, drone will actually put you to sleep as well... It's the main reason I changed my exhaust as the crappy exhaust I had on before droned so bad on long trips (and I took at least 3 a year...)

cool......................if you don't like it great. i never said you have to use it. i was just letting the op know what i thought about it because i actually OWN one and drive it every day. its obviously not that bad of a system being that a lot of people like it. i guess your ears are mega sensitive because when i have the silencer on my 3 year old niece doesn't even mind it. as you should know each system isn't going to sound exactly the same on each car. so about all your spectrum and shit its sorta irrelavant. lol.

I was pretty set on the Blitz NUR Spec exhaust, and the TMS downpipe (since its a direct bolt on to a CT-26). The TMS cat i didn't care too much for, and if BIC makes a shorter test pipe that will fit right up ill just get that. I don't do any long driving (30-45 mins at max) so exhaust droning doesn't bother me. Also i can barely hear shit with my crackly ass speakers. Thanks for the help guys.

EDIT: I was looking at BIC's website and noticed they only have 1 testpipe. When i order it would i just put something in about getting the 10.5 instead of the 12?

http://suprastore.com/expa1.html This is what i was going to get. It would still be cheaper to order this as a package, and just get the TP shortened then ordering everything individually. The cheapest i can find the NUR Spec for is 650+ and the TMS dp is 300+/-. Thats 950 right there + the next 60-70 for the tp.

...and I used to own one before I sold it off and bought something else. You know actualy experience. ;)

That was right around the time that Blitz actually introduced that exhaust. Same complaints from numerous other folks, and they all had high HP until they got out of this game. ;)

funny thing is that even at 4 inch now, now where near as drony as that Blitz system.

C'est la vie.

Painted muffler and double tip FTL......

Correction, it's powdercoated stainless.

Stock is dual tip, and the notch in the bumper is there for dual tips. Most exhausts look like they aren't made for the car...

Looking like every other ricer with a fartcan FTL
Getting the wrong attention from cops FTL
