Ever wonder how they turn that ct-26 into a potential HP monster?

Well as some of you saw im looking into an upgraded trim for the ct-26. I have a basic knowledge of turbos and how they work but nothing else...in my search for a shop for the upgrade i came across these videos of how they rebuild a turbo and upgrade the compressor and turbine and thought i would share with everyone...i personally thought they were pretty interesting, especially the upgrading video and all the machine work involved

Check it out, the vids arn't half bad:

Rebuilding 101: http://www.blouchturbo.com/clips/rebuilding101/index.htm

Upgrading 101: http://www.blouchturbo.com/clips/upgrading101/index.htm

They don't use ct-26's but you get the general idea at least

they have a few other good videos too including a turbo pocketbike they made.....yes....TURBO pocketbike.

pretty cool videos but not all turbos are the same for all that stuff. bb turbos are a whole different kind of animal. as a turbo beginner you might want to check into "maximum boost" by corky bell. pretty much a bible for beginning boostheads.

either way great finds!

just out of curiosity...is there a BB upgrade to the ct? ...if not, why not, they have upgrade options for other turbos that arn't (ie turbonetics turbos)
