(He was also talking about Jags, and how a real Jag has a I6, not any V12's... It was pretty interesting.) Funny what happens when you pull into Burger King for lunch sometimes. :) A mini car show:)

jaguar is #1 in my book for engine because they do some amazing shit, well did do some amazing shit the e-type was the best setup for its time and could still be competitive with our cars today. the xj220 put out twice the performance with half the cylinders, a new paganii v12 zonda couldnt beat a 93 xj220. car makers have lost ALLOT of what made them popular.

Back in high school, (80's) a friends dad had a yellow E Type Jag. It was a very interesting car, and he would not even let us near it unless he was there. (Seriously.)
It was covered, and he had 1" foam pads, covered in canvas, hanging from the garage ceiling around the car. (Like a safety wall.) You could not even see the car. He would tie up the "foam" walls when he wanted to move or wax the car. (Weekly.) Mostly just wax it. I only saw it on the road one time, and I lived there over 6 years. (I'm sure he drove it more, but never unless the weather was perfect, and traffic was minimal.)

Cool car, but not worth the worship he gave it IMHO. (But I've heard many times it is one the finest cars ever made.)
